The award covers full tuition fee waivers, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. Selections are based on the academic excellence, financial need and development potential. Scholarship Description: With the participation and permission of the Pankhurst family, and in association with the Jethro Institute for Good Governance, this scholarship is available to students from Ethiopia. While Ms. Pankhurst’s work as a suffragette is well known, less well known is her work in Ethiopia, where she raised awareness of Mussolini’s atrocities in that country and helped to found the first teaching hospital in Ethiopia.
