-These studentships are only available to new applicants who are eligible to pay the UK/EU tuition fee – i.e., those who are permanently resident in the UK or another EU country. Please note that applicants from the EU (excluding the UK) must have been resident in the UK for at least three years prior to commencing the studentship to receive both the stipend and fee components of this award (not including residency in the UK for the purposes of education); EU applicants who do not meet this criteria will receive the fee waiver component only.

Scholarship Description: The School of Museum Studies is pleased to offer three Arts and Humanities Research Council Professional Preparation Studentships for September 2013 entry to one of its two full-time campus based Masters degree programmes. On all of our courses you will develop the knowledge and skills required to move into a variety of careers in museums and galleries, as well as being prepared for further postgraduate study. All of our full-time courses include regular visits to museums and galleries providing you with valuable opportunities to develop your skills in a practical setting, whilst guest lecturers provide you with an insight into contemporary museum and gallery work.
